Moberley / Bishop Lake
YOU FOLKS RUN AN EXCELLENT OPERATION. WE HAD A GREAT TIME IN MOBERLEY LAKE AND JUST GOT BACK THIS MORNING AT ABOUT 10AM. YES THE FISHING STORIES WILL NOW GET EVEN BIGGER. OUR LARGEST WALLEYE WAS 29 1/4" AND IN EVERYONE'S BOOK THAT IS A TRUE TROPHY!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAD TWO NORTHERNS COME IN AT 40" FOR THE LARGEST BUT MANY IN THE 33 TO 39" SIZE. THE WEATHER DID NOT COOPERATE AS YOU KNOW. WE WERE A WEEK TOO SOON. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A WONDERFUL WEEK. DENNIS, MIAMI, OK ************************************************************************* We were on Bishop Lake from 8/3 until 8/10. In the rush to get to the airport when we came back to your base I forgot to ask you a question. We took some digital scales with us that measure weight up to 15# (all we need for bass in Florida). I caught a Pike that wouldn't measure on our scales. It was 46" long and had a girth of about 19 1/2". Any chance that you have a formula to figure the weight of that fish? By the way, "WE HAD A GREAT TIME", AS USUAL! Six of us fishing caught 590 fish. Only the ones we ate aren't still swimming around. Thanks again for a great time! Tessup Lake
Here are some pictures of the biggest walleyes we caught. They range from 21" to 26". We caught another "silver" northern. I lost count of all the northerns we caught. We caught them back trolling with floating jig heads and leeches. Can't wait to get back next year. Bob & Ellen, MNThere are 2 images in this gallery

Holly Lake
Per my telecon with you today, enclosed is my deposit check for $800, for a party of 4, August 9 through August 14th. We are working to get an additional 2 persons to join us. We will let you know as soon as it is firmed up. We wish to take advantage of the$60 food package. I anticipate we will all be getting the sportsmen's package. We so enjoyed our trip to Holly Lake. The fishing was fantastic. For the first time, I caught a large whitefish. Other notables were a 30" northern and 26" walleye (released of course). Dunne Lake
Just a quick note of thanks for a great fishing trip and relaxing vacation. Your group there is top notch, everyone we met from start to finish and great pilots who got us in with under minimum weather conditions. We will definitely be back. Another quick note I forgot to mention upon our return, we caught 2 blue walleye's while at Dunne. Some in our group have never heard of them and did not believe they existed, I noticed a blurb from another letter writer in the brochure about them. Was it the same lake or are they more common than I thought? Thanks again, Paul, Mnpls, MNThere are 0 images in this gallery

Glitter Lake
I wanted to thank you for the nice time we had on Glitter. My Dad will be 81 soon and he wanted to get in there one last time. His last trip to Glitter was 25 years ago, by boat. Now he's trying to put another trip together for next year (his ninth trip). I was really impressed with the planes, the cabin and the food provided. It was a pleasant surprise. My nephews were really impressed with the fishing. We were concerned how the fishing would be in late summer, but even though we didn't fish that hard we managed to get a 29" Walleye and 7 Northerns over 40", including two over 45". We took a lot of pictures and everyone had a great time. Thank You, Roger, NCThere are 8 images in this gallery

Pipio / Dasant Lakes
Here's 2 deposits for Dasant Lake for June 1 to the 6th. Everybody else will be sending their own deposits. Looks like 8 for sure but may have 10. Last year was the best at Dasant Lake and was by far the best fishing we have ever had up there. Can't wait to see what this year is like! Thanks, Mark, Council Bluffs, IA ************************ THIS IS JUST A SHORT NOTE TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THE FISHING IN LAKE PIPIO WAS TERRIFIC. OVER THE YEARS OUR GROUP HAS FISHED WITH SEVERAL DIFFERENT OUTFITTERS AND I MUST SAY THAT NONE OF THEM RUN A QUALITY OPERATION LIKE YOURS. THE SERVICE AND FACILITIES ON EACH TRIP HAS BEEN A REAL TREAT. THIS PAST YEAR THE WALLEYES AND NORTHERNS WERE FAR ABOVE AVERAGE!!! OUR GROUP IS PLANNING ANOTHER TRIP AND WILL ADVISE YOU OF SOME POTENTIAL DATES FOR PIPIO. THANKS AGAIN FOR PROVIDING FIRST CLASS TREATMENT TO US OVER THE YEARS!! BEST REGARDS, LARRY, ST. Birch Lake
Enclosed please find monies to secure a spot at Birch Lake for September. I have 4 guys commited to another wonderful trip with N.W.O. and you can rest assured I will find 2 more to fill the plane. This particular trip will be made up of 4 guys new to Northern Wilderness Outfitters and they are all looking forward to it. Over the last few years I have taken several trips with your outposts and each one gets better and better. The accommodations are excellent, the staff could not be more friendly or helpful and the memories just keep building. I even took my mother and my wife last year and they are planning another trip sometime in the future. We still sit and talk about the fish we caught, the company we enjoyed and the stories we made. I tell everyone I know this is something you have to experience for yourself! I can't stress enough how helpful and pleasant everyone is, Chris, Brad, Vic Jr., Brian, Mitzi, Doug and everyone else at the dock. It certainly makes the pre-planning portion of the trip easy and a the docks it always starts off on the right foot. Thanks for making these trips possible! Best Regard, Ryan, Bloomington, MNThere are 10 images in this gallery

Granite Lake
I have enclosed checks totaling $1000 for deposit for our fly-in to Granite Lake. We have five for sure at this time, and probably one more who will let us know closer to the actual date. We also have two more "possibles." I will let you know at least a week in advance. We want the food package as we find it to be convenient and really good. Granite Lake left us wanting more. I think our last experience on Granite was probably the best experience so far. You should have warned us about the huge northerns, they were line busters. We will be better prepared next time, maybe a little heavier tackle. We are looking forward to our next adventure. Sincerely, Bill, Oshkosh, WIThere are 0 images in this gallery

Okanse Lake
I wanted to send you this note regarding our recent trip to Okanse Lake. Except for the last night being hit by the tornado, this 7 day fishing trip produced the best fishing that I have experienced in more than 10 years coming to Canada. We got several Northern over 40 inches, two over 45 and the one that I got was 48 inches. The walleye fishing was the best of any of the lakes that we have fished and we averaged nearly 40 fish per day per boat both walleye and northern pike every one of the 7 fishing days. I hope you are successful getting quick repairs done to the cabin since it was in beautiful condition when we arrived, one of the best that we have seen among any Outfitters. Good luck and we will likely see you again next year. Sincerely, Jake, Mooresville, NCThere are 4 images in this gallery

Tew Lake
Hey Guys: Thanks again for another great fishing trip! As always, the cabin and boats were fantastic, and of course the fishing was incredible. The 8 of us caught over 1500 fish in the 5 days of fishing (over 1300 walleye). Naturally, all but the 24 that we ate went back in the water for another day! We hope to keep up this family fishing tradition for a long time, so Vic, I hope you have plans for somehow keeping NWO going strong (with the same level of quality and service) for years to come! You guys take care, and I hope you have a safe rest of the season, and pleasant winter break! Thanks again, Chuck and the gang. There are 0 images in this gallery
Carillon Lake
Just a quick note to thank you for another wonderful trip this year! We certainly brought the warm Texas weather with us but none the less the fishing was fantastic on Carillon and all agreed that we will be making another trip there! There were many great memories with my two younger boys including almost landing a huge Pike. I also want to thank you for the price break you gave me on the two younger sons, it just reinforces to me what a wonderful group of people you are and what a pleasure it is to deal with you. I will hopefully be contacting you soon regarding a Moose hunting trip. Take care and please tell your staff thank you for making our trip so enjoyable. Mink Lake
What a great trip to Mink Lake! I have been fishing with you for 15 years and it gets better every trip. Your pilots are the best, they gave us a view of a moose swimming the lake and a bear in the woods. Enclosed is a picture of this 38" pike. It was a handful getting him in on ultra lite equipment. Hope to see this picture in your next publication. Your friend, Jim, Louisville, KYThere are 10 images in this gallery

Sesikinaga Lake
Our crew of six had a great week fishing in Sessi Lake this year. Probably the best year in almost 20 years we have been enjoying your service and your great fishing destinations. How's this for a dream trip - the first fish Dick caught was a 29" (little over 9 lbs.) walleye! Dick lead the way with two 29", one 28" and several in the upper 20" range. But everyone caught so many fish over 20" for the week, incredible. And sometimes the action was so hot - you did not need to re-bait, just get the line back in the water. Every person, every night, had the big grins of satisfied fishers on their face. The facilities there are great, nice large cabin with wrap around deck. Boats, motors, all great. Pilots and planes that get us there fast and back safe. And I know I have told you this before, but your team is like friends of the family to us - we are so comfortable from when we walk in the door at your outpost to when we leave to cross the border back to the US. We all look forward to next year. See you then, and enjoy the moment. Jim, Rochester, MNThere are 14 images in this gallery

Wabakimi Lake
Our 18th trip into Wabakimi Lake was the best. Mother Nature was kind to us. She gave us weather that was perfect. As usual, we caught a ton of fish. The largest walleye (caught by me) was 6 1/2 lbs! The largest northern was 47 inches and weighed 30 lbs. WOW! I have enclosed a couple of photos for proof. See you in 09. Respectfully, Glenn, Elgin, ILLThere are 13 images in this gallery
